Isn’t amazing that with every quilt one makes there is something else to learn?
The 150 Years of the London Underground Quilt has proven to test my ideas surrounding design using circles and how to piece them to create numbers, as well on getting my head around proportions. The maths is becoming all the more important here. I tried two different approaches with the number 5 in particular
Firstly…
Hmm, proportions aren’t quite there yet.
Second try…
A simpler approach!??
Still not over the moon about these, but learning on the go.
Best get onto the rest of the design or the number 5 might just become my next obsession.
Till then,
Dianna
