couldn’t resist it

20 Aug

I really like this print and it makes up a good lunch bag.  Hopefully it will stand the test of time, in and out of school daily.  Took some advice from the Hold It!: How to Sew Bags, Totes, Duffels, Pouches, and More – Paperback – Import (1994) by Nancy Restuccia’ book I bought from again (see archive post – ‘getting into it’.  It was useful in so far as mentioning the use of fleece as an inner lining to keep food fresher and cooler.  I would not have otherwise thought of this.  Apart from that it is a messenger bag with velcro and poppers to keep it well closed.  The puzzle patchwork has become a bit of ‘work in progress’, very slowly…

Thank you!! I like the design too and think it might make a good handbag in the right oilcloth. I will have to get busy again, I cant wait.
