Oilcloth Bag in Patchwork

11 Jan

I started this project months ago, but lost my way with it.  I recently discovered the beginnings of the patchwork which I have now completed and made into a bag.  I lined it with polka dot oilcloth, added one zippered closure for the inside pocket and finished it with a magnetic closure for the whole bag.  The colours are stunning and I love the finished bag.

It is becoming more popular and I have seen an increase in the use of this type of fabric since working with it myself.
