How To Make a Five Minute Oilcloth Peg Bag

22 May

This is so easy – and it really takes no longer than 5-10 minutes.

Select your fabric

Cut your fabric using a hanger to measure out the width adding 1cm on each side for seams, my fabric measures 33″ long By 12″ wide

Hem both width ends

Fold the material so that you have a deep pocket on the bottom for your pegs and enough of a fold at the top to cover your hanger

Make sure that the smaller half’s fold is on the outside when the turned the right way round

Right sides together sew up the side seams

Make a hole in the middle on the short sided fold.  Turn your peg bag right side out and put your hanger through the center hole -put your pegs in the deep pocket, hang on the washing line and it’s all ready to go

PS:  Don’t forget the sew mama sew give away tomorrow

I’d love to win the little bag. Thanks for the chance.
