Textile Art: A Practical and Inspirational Guide to Manipulating, Colouring and Embellishing Fabrics

I was in Hobby Craft the other day browsing and found this book.  I only had a quick look through it but Textile Art looks like a good book to get anyone started on this side of getting creative with fabric.

I like the idea of dying your own fabric to use and embellishing anything certainly gives another dimension.

Inspiration for the future.

My quilt to is in the last stages of the quilting and then onto the binding,

I’ll be posting photo’s of that soon.

I have this book too, it’s a well thumbed and loved book of Inspiration covering many areas of creativity, and showing various artists work

This looks like another great book to add to the library! Another one on my list, although a bit pricey, is “Louise Bourgeois: The Fabric Works” by Mignon Nixon.
