Meeting In London

2 Apr

As expected lots of exciting things are being organised by the London Modern Quilt Guild – to mention just a few….

Ray-Stitch in conjunction with the London Modern Quilt Guild will be giving some fat quarters away on the LMQG blog later this week do check back to it and I will mention it again when it’s live and official.

Aneela Hoey came into the meeting yesterday and spoke about how she got into textile design for moda and her design process – very exciting!  Aneela has a blog – if you haven’t found it before here is her link.

QuiltCon block Challenge presented by the Modern Quilt Guild looks exciting too – just follow the link to their blog for the block challenge – entries close in mid-august.

Danielle also did an English Paper Piecing Tutorial project to make a pencil-case – if you are interested in this method do go along to her site where she offers learning how to in East London in the events section of her site.

The London Modern Quilt Guild blog has some great book reviews  – do go over and have a look – stop me though, more lovely books, where will I put them all!?

Enjoy your week what ever you may be doing – be chatting soon

Dianna

Thanks for the link Dianna and the lovely comment on my blog. It’s great to share a form of patchwork that I love so much. I look forward to seeing what else you have been creating. D
