A Bag For All Reasons – Lisa Lam – Review

4 Aug

Lisa Lam has another book out and it looks fab!

This book boasts twelve fun bags to make and includes lots of brilliant tips in her techniques section about pockets, zips, snaps, straps, bag edges and linings.  Lisa also talks about using, modifying and understanding patterns.

The clear photography takes you through all the sections beautifully with step by step instructions too.

Two of the bag projects which caught my eye were the double bicycle panniers and 3-in-1 convertible backpack both right up my street:) Other projects include a baby bag, tote, ipad case, wallet and ‘train-style’ vanity case, toddler friendly backpack and more.

If you are into bag making or are just beginning this might just be the book for you.

Happy Stitching.
