Work in Progress Wednesday with Freshly Pieced

6 Sep

I know I’m a bit late but I needed to get a little head way with this quilt which seems to be taking me a very long time to do – I started this with my daughter at the beginning of August with scraps left over from other projects.

Our London Modern Quilt Guild Challenge is to get out and dust off any unfinished projects and finish one.  This is the one I’ve chosen.  Not much planning went into it, but it’s fun to see it evolve.

It looks as though improv was the name of the game over the last week or so! That’s great that you and your daughter started the project together. Is she going to help you finish it, too??

I’d like her to, I think she likes the cutting bit the best:)

Looks like a most excellent use of scraps – and the improv aspect certainly makes it more interesting than your regular postage stamp style of quilt. Great Fun!
