Fusible Fun – Apron Applique with BondaWeb (Wonder Under)

19 Mar

Hi there, welcome to DiannaJessie – if you are looking for the quilting gallery blog hop party it’ s over here🙂  By the way it has put a big smile on my face when reading the comments for this give away – I chose a particularly hard question it seems and come to think of it I can’t come up with a single song answer either….

Blog Hop Party with Give-Aways

A friend ran a Mother’s Day ‘cupcake decoration’ workshop over the weekend and wanted some cute aprons for the girls who attended –  my little one wasn’t that well last week but I did manage to make one using Bondaweb (wonder under) as a fusible for the appliquĂ©.  It worked a treat – I have very little experience of any fusibles out there but this one was easy to use – applied with a hot iron onto the motif then peel off the paper backing and hot iron onto main fabric.  FAB – I love things that work.

My daughter had to have one of her own with her very special colour choice – she came up with this:

I just wondered how well bondaweb stood up to washes and weather the stiffness of it goes if one was to use it for quilts – any feedback on this would be great – Thanks:)

And Happy Doing the Things that you Love,

Dianna
